I think the Vodcast was a great idea. As you say it being clear and expressing our feelings isn't always easy in a written form. I think this kind of posts is a very good way of getting the students involved and more attached to our projects. Personally I do like the website. Even though I agree with you the layout is not the best and the site is not graphically attractive, I find very valuable the framework and the given material. I see the repetition in some aspects as a part of what the different toolkits pretend and it implies referring again to some aspects of the general framework. In the Route 21 and the Video 21 I have found good material that has helped me understand what it takes to develop a classroom based on 21st century skills. A lot is still to be done and I'm expecting for the partnership to produce some additional material like the Above and Beyond video.
I will keep an eye on that website because I do think more is on the way. I also like video 21, especially the end where she came back to keep a promise to her students when she was in no way obligated to, and it was then that her one student realized she was a nationally renowned teacher. It made me think about the little extra things we do for the kids that we may think nothing of, but they think the world of.
Sorry for the audio being out of synch.
